Overview

Confronting the effects derived from new economic norms, cross border competition, and diversification of financial services, the banking industry is faced with new challenges which also signifies new opportunities. Between 2014 and 2015, China Zheshang Bank (CZB) has introduced two strategic approaches “Two Most Target” and “Total Asset Operation Strategy”. The anticipation is to leverage an holistic branding approach to realize strategic transformation. 

The MetaThink team conducted an external trends analysis as well as a competitive benchmark analysis, and from the findings, defined CZB’s unique value propositions and as such, architected a brand system and a brand communications roadmap for the next 5 years. Building on this foundational work, a series of tactical executions were carried out to demonstrate the refreshed brand, including renewing the branch experience, press release etc. 

CZB officially launched its new brand image on its anniversary August 18,2016. Through integration of online and offline activities, the brand’s values of holistic, agility and vibrancy were successfully revealed to the public.
